Now, most people that want to learn to solve the rubik's cube will inevitably search Google, or YouTube. A huge chance you will come across Dan Browns videos on the subject... in fact its almost guaranteed you will. That where i started but later realized, when i wanted to get faster, that it was a VERY bad place to start. And so, i give you the alternative to learning the art of speed cubing. Badmephisto.
Don't let the algorithms scare you away, they are easy to learn and become second nature while solving. You learn that an algorithm is not a series of letters which correspond to cube movements, but in fact a pattern of moves executed by the hand that become faster, and easier with time.
